We are unassuming designers and detailers of timber frame buildings. Taking architectural concepts and making them a virtual and physical 3D reality.
We’re always looking for ways to improve on a design - whether that’s from an economic, ergonomic, or aesthetic standpoint. Our eye for detail and our aptitude for problem solving are our greatest assets and form the foundations of our design output and consultancy platform.
More often than not, we are architect or client led, rather than the lead, when it comes to the final finishes and aesthetics of a building. That being said; we are anything but quiet partners!
So how does OSOTIMBER work?
The beginnings of an idea
Have you got the spark of an idea in the back of your mind? Or a full set of architect’s drawings ready to go? Either way, get them across to us (in whatever form they might be - napkins and backs of envelopes are accepted!) and see how we can help with your design project.
An initial 3D model is made
Modelling is a powerful tool to communicate the benefits and potential pit falls of a design project. We’ll walk you through the initial 3D modelling where necessary, and provide a set of initial 2D sign off drawings to ensure everything is dimensioned and laid out exactly as expected.
On to the nitty gritty details
Once everyone is happy with the design, it’s time to model every structural component within the build. Progress and 3D modelling will be shared with you along the way, to ensure everyone is in the picture and importantly, you - the client - has a voice!
Time for the final sign off
We’ll provide a final 3D model of the end product and all of its components. A magical stage where the frame is laid bare, you’ll get a true picture of how the building works in all its glory. Any final tweaks can be made before we sign off and proceed to final outputs.
We deliver the finished article!
